Well hello there! My name’s Tracy Love and I’ve been asked to share my latest discovery with you. You see recently, I was introduced to a concept which took me a while to get my head around – but now I‘m there I’m so in love with it, I can’t wait to shout it from the roof tops!
Last year I met a lovely lady, Debbie Skinner, who put an ad on a local website, offering to come round and do a make-over on me for free. Now I wasn’t stupid, I’d done her line of work before, I knew her ultimate goal was to get me to have a party and she would make sales of her products. But there was more to it than that, and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how the make-up and the reason for the company worked hand in hand.
You see, Younique is a company who, as far as I’m aware, are the only charity based company who matches every $1 spent with $2 of their own money on sales of ALL it products. Supporting people like me, in a positive, proactive and encouraging way. Younique helps fight against the effects of CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE to women – men are not excluded; there are just less of them who want the products. They even have a centre providing therapy, beauty treatments; and the opportunity to meet other women with the same awful experiences. Admittedly, the centre is in the States, and would cost me my airfare to get there – but once there, everything is complimentary (However, the more successful they become in the UK the more chance we have of getting our own centre!).
BUT WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO WEAR MAKE-UP TO MAKE MYSELF FEEL BETTER? WHY SHOULD I PROMOTE MAKE-UP TO MAKE OTHER WOMEN TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT THEMSELVES- TO ATTRACT THE VERY ATTENTION THAT GOT US INTO THIS HORROR STORY OF AN EXSISTANCE IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Then I tried it. I felt it against my skin; I saw the effects it had on my complexion, my confidence, my smile. I’ve never been a fan of my looks; my eyes are too big and dark, my lips are too small, my nose is hooked and I look like a puppet! But when I look at the photo above I see someone very different now. I don’t think I look too bad for 50 years old. I’ve learnt how to apply my make-up properly and how to make the most of what I have. I walk with a little swish in my step now, and when people look at me, I no longer feel they are staring at me because I’m ugly, dirty or damaged, just in appreciation for my efforts. I’ve even started dating after five years off the scene!!!
The fantastic news, for you, is; I will be sharing all of this with you too! I will pass on my newly found knowledge and tricks, in video tutorials every other Tuesday, with product information. So please drop by and say hi. If you have any areas of concern you would like me to talk about – just let me know. What I don’t know, I can find out. I will also be telling you more about this amazing company and how you can have a piece of its pie too!
